Useful information from Malaysia National House Buyers Association

We can find existing owners’ association/committee (in the form of Yahoo Groups, blogs, forums) of some housing projects. Useful if you are buying 2nd hand property and wish to find out info or existing problems of that housing estate/project. Useful also if you have problems related to your house and wish to join forces with others in the same housing estate/project.

    Dear Sir,

    I wish to know more about the apartment management law, recently my apartment just implement the security gate system, but due to the bad paying fees issue, some of the owner is not allow to drive in his car, will it be legally by apartment management?

    Hi, my children bought a house directly from the developer but when the house was delivered to them, it was found that there were many fruit trees growing right to the side of the garden, including two coconut trees which may drop the fruit directly into the compound. These trees belong to another owner on an adjacent land. We asked the developer to chop down the trees, especially the dangerous coconut trees but they refused, saying they did not belong to them. What can we do now as buyer of of the house ? What right do we have ? Please help as we are at a lost what to do.
